In the following link you can download Inkscape and do some tutorials:

a) From the main page click on “Download” and select your operating system to download Inkscape.

b) Again from the main page, click on “LEARN” then on “Tutorials” then on “Basic tutorial”. Follow the tutorial to learn how to use Inkscape.
